The Mini Class
A boat class created in 1977, the Mini Class brings together around 300 members, the vast majority of whom are racers, from all socio-professional backgrounds, from carpenters to engineers, from nurses to stewards, from journalists to professional skippers.
The Mini Class is above all the association of all those who are passionate about these fabulous little sailboats, who want to share the wild surfing, the budget struggles, the days waiting for the wind and all the moments of happiness that the ocean offers us.
The Maxi 6.50
Built by IDB Marine and designed by architect David Raison (winner of the Mini-Transat in 2011), it is currently the most efficient production Mini. It was also a Maxi 6.50 that won the last Mini Transat in 2021.
My choice is to stop on the 1028. A boat that has always sailed under the Swiss flag and that won the second leg of the last SAS, proof of its capabilities. I will do my first double-handed race on the boat in 2025!
